The Hit is Now an Award-Winning Film!

Drinkstorm’s first short film The Hit just won a Bronze Award in the Mindfield-Albuquerque Film Festival!  This is the review we got from the festival:

I reviewed The Hit along with the panel and quite enjoyed it. Jenn and Charlie did a great job at writing and directing this film. I love the quirkiness of it; it kept us laughing. The cast was believable and true to their characters. The cinematography fit the genre perfectly along with the editing. The score matched the genre wonderfully.

Also, We won two awards in the Snowdance Film Awards!  Our lead actor Frederick Fairbanks won Best Actor, and the film won runner-up for Best Short!

The Hit has also recently been accepted to the Shepperton Screenwriting Festival. More news on that festival coming soon!
