Our webseries Magicland was accepted to the Slumberjack Film Festival in the UK and Webfest New York. Both events take place in the spring. We also received four nominations in LAWEBFEST, which takes place at Sony Pictures Studios at the end of April. We’re nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Cinematography (Tim Labonte), Outstanding Lead […]
In September we had an amazing trip to the Miami Webfest where our webseries Magicland was nominated for best mockumentary. As soon as we came back, we found out that Magicland isn’t quite ready to leave the Magic City. In December, Magicland will be playing at the South Florida Webfest! Magicland also got into the Top […]
The results are in! The Magicland website won the Special Achievement Award at the Maverick Movie Awards for being “a richly detailed website in support of the series.” We’d like to give an extra-special thanks to SuperVikki who did all the art and design for the website (and this one, too!).
Double the pleasure, double the fun at the 401 Film fest this October! Not only did the Magicland episode Jake Makes a Commercial get accepted, but Jenn’s horror comedy Weekend Getaway (co-directed and co-written with the amazing Andrea Henry) is also in the fest. Charlie has a special appearance in the film as a hockey-mask-wearing serial […]

Our play, Edward’s Closet, which was performed at the Take Ten Festival in NYC this spring will be returning to the Big Apple as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival on Halloween Weekend! Johnny Culver is directing again, and most of his delightful band of closet dwellers will be returning. […]
Two awesome things happened to Magicland this week (and neither one involves the park closing down). First, we found out that it is nominated for best mockumentary in the Miami Webfest! It also got into FIS-MED, Columbia’s first festival dedicated to web and mobile programming. Huzzah!
